"Days?" She looked at him with disbelief and more than a little guilt. She'd known she was in bad shape and that she'd sleep for, well, longer than she'd probably led him to believe. But that long... no wonder she felt like she did.
"Everybody must be freaked." She spotted her phone on the bedside table. She quickly grabbed it and, on unlocking it, discovered that he had already handled the freakouts. And sent regular updates. And... he was friends with Storm now? That merited further investigation later.
She handed him the glass she'd drained a few minutes earlier. "I'm going to call real quick, let her know I'm still here. Mind getting me more water? Or juice... or Gatorade, actually, if you have it. My electrolytes must be all out of whack." Among other things. She was grateful, though, to be there with him and not at the mansion. He wouldn't treat her like a child and fuss over her. Well, he might fuss, but not in a demeaning way. In a caring way. Logan would probably have started calling her "half-pint" again.
