Steve might not have grown up with that sort of thing but if he’d learned one thing about living in the future, it was that the food was a lot better now. And things were less scarce or rationed. The food situation, at least, was much better. And gave Steve every reason not to learn to cook.
Kate had provided him exactly one to try.
“I don’t know what else I have. Maybe next time you stay over I’ll be more prepared for company,” he noted, moving around the small kitchen to get out everything he needed. Easier if it was all set out ahead of time, he’d figured out through his bit of practice.
