An' you keep tellin' me to have a little faith in the guy?

He's stupid, but not that stupid.

*sigh* I know, I know. I'm just... freaking out.

I wish I had your confidence.

Half-Pint... You can do this. If I didn't know so, I wouldn't say so.

I just really, really want to be a good mom.

An' you will be. Now sit down an' shut up.

*will finish this crib thing without her, because he's the king of making baby beds... obviously*

[identity profile] phasing-cat.livejournal.com 2011-06-03 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, sir!

*chuckles and sits in the rocker, waiting to see what he does with the frilly thing*

[identity profile] 45825243-t78-a.livejournal.com 2011-06-04 07:08 am (UTC)(link)
*He's making progress, but he has no fucking clue where the frilly thing goes. In the end, he just hangs it on a corner of the crib.*

There. Done. *And don't you dare tell him different.*

*She won't. She'll wait until after he's gone to fix what he's gotten wrong. Instead she points to a box in the corner.*

You forgot the mobile.

[identity profile] 45825243-t78-a.livejournal.com 2011-06-06 09:16 am (UTC)(link)
*grumbles - but he goes to get the mobile anyway*

Hell's the point a'those, anyway?

You've really never been around a baby before, have you?

They provide visual stimulation, and it plays music to help soothe the baby to sleep.

... You really gotta ask?

So it's like TV for babies.

*nods* Yeah, kinda. Only they can't sit up, so you put it somewhere they can see it when they're laying down.
