Prompt: #37 Snow- Drabble Table
Word Count: 127
The trio sat under the shade of a large elm tree next to the zoo’s picnic area. Though they all had their own sno-cones, Samantha toddled back and forth between her mother and her “auntie” Nat, insisting they take turns sharing hers. It was big enough that the almost one-year-old had to told it with both hands. With each wobbly step she took Kitty was sure she would drop it, but she held on every time. Back and forth, from Mommy to “Nattie”, calling out their names before shoving the steadily melting sno-cone in their faces. By the time she was tired of the game, Samantha plopped down in Nat’s lap, more to Nat’s surprise than anyone else’s, and drank what was left of the frosty treat.
