She took the glass with both hands and sat back in her chair, ready for the show. She wouldn't be able to jump up and help him, but she could offer advice if things started to go badly. Or be a stove-side cheerleader.
"My mom always said the secret to scrambled eggs was cooking them in butter." Not particularly healthy, but she was already going to be downing pancakes which had little nutritional value outside the blueberries. She didn't see that as a problem, though. She just wanted tasty food.
