As she set her glass back on the table she spotted his sketchbook. Mostly out of curiosity, and a little to avoid making him nervous by watching him like a hawk, she pulled it over and opened to the page the pencil was stuck in. She immediately smiled.
It was a drawing of a ballerina in passe, legs creating a perfect triangle. Toes en pointe, arms stretched gracefully over her head, tutu perfectly flared out from her waist. Her eyes, though, were closed, and little 'z's floated out of her mouth and up and away from her head. Kitty chuckled as she picked up the book and showed him the page.
