Kitty snuggled under Peter’s arm and took the glass from Angel. She had never drank champagne before, and watched the bubbles curiously.

Angel threaded her fingers through Einar’s before holding up her own glass. “A toast.”

“To what?” Kitty asked. It was a typical Friday evening at the shop, the usual partygoers were in attendance. As far as she knew there was no occasion to celebrate.

Angel smiled and unfurled her wings, embracing their quartet. “To love.”

Kitty smiled at Peter, the love in his eyes and hers apparent to anyone watching.

“I’ll drink to that.”

Love it, especially the wing hug around the 4 of them. Of course with Einar's size, the mental picture is both adorable and amusing.
