I still can't believe you're gone. You were more than just a teacher, or a leader. You were a father to all of us, especially for those whose own parents had abandoned them. I still remember the day you came to my house and asked my parents to let me come to the school. They were so reluctant, but you convinced them. Just one of your many talents.

I felt at home from the first day I came here, because of you. You went out of your way to make sure I was comfortable, and that I felt loved. I can't thank you enough for that.

Everyone misses you so much. I had never seen Storm cry before. Even Logan looked like he was getting choked up.

I want you to know that we're going to continue to fight for what you taught us. Equality, and diplomacy. If we have to kill Jean, we will. Magneto too. But we won't let them hurt innocent people, and we won't let them turn the mutant community into a rabid mob. I hope, wherever you are, you can see what we do, and that you're proud.
